Project Background

This Project was uniquely developed for the UMDA and is a result of countless engagements with many possible project developers and the challenges that they and the land owners face. The projects is based on the development of Traditional Authority Land and the land of Land Restitution properties, but not limited to it. In answers the Question What, Why and Where by Whom and this has been the ultimate question in the pursue of Tourism opportunities on these lands and ensuring that they comply with environmental challenges. The project will ultimately have to be attractive enough to be invested into.

The project is now in development stages and three preliminary sites have been identified the next stage is to do EIA and QS for the sites and launch a PDA application with the relevant Municipalities. The three identified sites are all are on Traditional Land and is funded by National Government. The Provincial Department of Economic Development is very supportive of the projects and as such would be involved as soon as projects are investment ready.
